Massage oil and gels: touch first

Massage products extend intimacy beyond the bottle, and couples massage is a good place to start. Oils and butters give a long, rich glide for full-body massage, while 2-in-1 massage and lube gels are designed for both massage and play. Some, like massage candles, warm into an oil you can pour.

The main compatibility point is latex: oils weaken latex and polyisoprene condoms, so keep them out of any plans that involve those. A 2-in-1 water-based gel is more flexible. Examples in our range include Durex Massage & Play, Lube Life Aromaplay massage oil and Playground Mood Maker.

Oils can stain, so lay down a towel. See oil and butter lubricants and our clean-up guide.
